Day 24

Portrait of a swan III

I keep being drawn back to these swans, actually cygnets on the verge of adulthood. There are nine of them in the family and mama and papa are wanting them gone, but, they are not ready to go. The dull overcast weather and flat light we have been having is ideal to grab detail of the high key plumage. I am enjoying this 365 journey,  it is interesting where it takes you.

  1. Beautiful.
    Very elegant!

  2. Oh you did it to me again Lesley. Audible sighs (sometimes several) every time I see these cygnets of yours.

  3. I don’t know that I’ve ever seen a tail-end view of a swan. Good for you for finding something novel.
