NEW ZEALAND West Coast…the battery is buggered

Wed 17th February 2010

It has been torrential rain and gales all day and I have never seen rain like it. It was relentless and to top it all we spent most of the day in a garage trying to sort the battery problem out, then discovered the alternator belt had been split in two.

Well at least we haven’t wasted a fine day.

Beach ART again, I photograph these beach pieces as found, for those who might wonder, well I know one person who will anyway! I deliberately want to keep it that way, otherwise it won’t mean anything and the magic is lost.

  1. Hi Lesley and Mike,

I know what you mean about rain in New Zealand – I lived in wet and windy Wellington for 6 months. I hope you’ll find it better as you go further north (assuming you are not there already). Safe journey to you! Incidently we are getting snow here in Suffolk – the really big fluffy flakes.

    Take care, love, Pam
