Day 141 …… A coastal drive, Puglia, Italy

We headed up the coast towards San Gregorio stopping at this sheltered bay to view the Ionian Sea, the waters were crystal clear with a few families out enjoying the Sunday morning. We carried on towards our nearest beach Torre Vado where we bought some fresh pesce (fish) which I stuffed with wild fennel, wild bay leaves and lemon and baked in the oven. I am still not sure what fish it was but we reckon it was Bass, a very sweet soft fish.
