Solomon’s Seal




This is the first time I have come across this plant but apparently it is a known bedding plant at home in the UK. Well, it is running rife here in the hedgerows of Lower Normandy right now. It is a really beautiful plant to look at and prefers a shady spot to prolificate. What did really amaze me  after I did some research after hubby spotted it being featred on the Chelsea Flower Show, was its healing properties, quite a know diverse range of claimed healing benefits:

  1. When I lived in the UK and had a cottage garden, Solomon’s Seal was one of the tell tale signs that the garden was coming to life. Very dramatic images.
