Grid ref: SW599321…… Godolphin Hill

This is one of my favourite walks and it doesn’t get much better than on a fine sunny early autumn morning. Today was no exception with the heathers now blooming amongst the still lush green bracken. The far reaching views from the small cone of heath-covered granite at the summit provides panoramic views of Mount’s Bay on the south coast, St Ives Bay in the north and everything in between. It truly is God’s own country and when you are up there surveying the beauty around  – it is very hard to come down.
