Met this lovely Cornish Farmer this sunny late September morn who farms from Predannack Manor Farm. He was baleing his silage from the high cliff tops of Predannack a stunning location especially on a day like this. He was kind enough to educate me on the varying methods of preparing sileage, from a more traditional clamp method to this very neat and packaged tidy black cello wrap ‘proper job’.
You could feel the sunshine and heat cooking the silage inside the black wrap bales so hot to the touch.
Apparently it is ready from baleing straight away for cattle feeding. The fields all looked scarily neat and tidy high up on the cliff tops today.
