The calm and coolness of The Hotel Capri here in Sorrento after our 3hr flight into Naples, was oh so welcoming a cross between baroque and habitat. Such a warm welcome from the staff here too very comfy with pool too ๐Ÿ™‚

the amazing Amalfi lemons that grow everywhere in overgrown gardens and orchards, to buy from the grocer all of 2 Euros a kilo! some are so large they are the size of small melons and just as sweet ๐Ÿ™‚

my first meal on arrival todays special at Blue Water restaurant – a glorious melange of homemade pasta with fresh basil parmeganio and cherry clams, clams that are smaller in much thicker shells but oh so sweet. Once you taste homemade pasta in Napoli it spoils you for life, al dente like never before!
