RPS Field Trip in Cornwall!

Godolphin is an old house and estate in West Cornwall, now owned by the National Trust. The house is not currently open to visitors except during the first week in the month as it is let out for holidays. However one room is always open and there are outbuildings, garden, and access to Godolphin Hill and woods adjacent to the house, both of which have mining remains.  There is a small tea room. Meet at 1030 in the main car-park.  (TR13 9RE. GR 599321) The car park is free and so are walks in the woods and on the hill but you have to pay to go to the house and gardens unless you are a National Trust member. Bring a packed lunch or get a sandwich from the café. We will be photographing buildings and landscapes. Assuming the weather is good I would anticipate we could find enough to keep us busy until mid-afternoon. – See more at: http://www.rps.org/events/2016/july/16/field-trip-in-cornwall#sthash.HWDmnjo8.dpuf
